About this tool

How it works

Choose a colour, choose a number, and reveal a fortune. Custom fortunes are stored only in this browser.

Example

Use the classic pack for a quick prediction, the party pack as an icebreaker, or replace every result with your own messages.

The calculation or transformation happens in this browser. There is no account, and the values you enter are not sent to NaughtyBear Labs.

Choose a classic, party, or custom fortune pack.
Pick a colour and number just as you would with a folded paper chatterbox.
Reveal the result, then play again or replace the fortunes with your own messages.

Is this the same as a chatterbox or cootie catcher?: Yes. Paper fortune teller, chatterbox, salt cellar, and cootie catcher are regional names for the same folding game.
Are custom fortunes uploaded?: No. Custom text is kept in local browser storage on this device.
