This policy covers the NaughtyBear Labs website, including the Side Hustles questionnaire and directory, and the browser-based microapps available under /microapps/. Our downloadable apps have their own privacy policies, linked below, because they may use different services.

Information you enter into a microapp

The microapps do not require an account. Text, measurements, dates, timer settings, and other values you enter are processed in your browser. We do not send those inputs to our servers. A microapp may save preferences or recent values in local browser storage so that it works offline or remembers your settings. You can remove that data by clearing this site's browser data.

The website also remembers your motion preference in this browser’s local storage. You can change it with the motion control in the footer or clear it in your browser settings.

Side Hustles questionnaire and community

Answers entered in the Side Hustles questionnaire stay in page memory. If you submit a platform review, we store its display name, rating, experience category, text and date in private Vercel storage. Approved review fields become public; pending and rejected reviews are available only to the directory owner.

Daily submission limits use a keyed representation of the connection IP address; the review database does not store raw addresses. Review and moderation records are kept while needed to operate the directory. Contact us to request removal. Some outbound links may be disclosed referral links. Affiliate and referral disclosure

Some links in our platform directory and other website content may be affiliate or referral links. NaughtyBear Labs may receive a commission, referral fee or other reward if you follow one of these links and sign up, make a purchase or complete another qualifying action. The requirements depend on the provider's or affiliate program's terms.

We identify these links with a nearby disclosure explaining that we may earn a commission or reward. Any fees you pay, or bonus or discount you receive, depend on the provider's current terms. Please check those terms before signing up or buying.

Affiliate and referral arrangements do not influence our questionnaire matching or community ratings. We apply the same moderation rules to positive and negative reviews, regardless of a referral relationship. A referral link does not confirm that a platform is hiring, that you are eligible, or that you will earn money.

Referral links may include an identifier so the provider or affiliate network can attribute a visit or qualifying action to NaughtyBear Labs. After you follow a link, those third parties may use cookies or other tracking technologies under their own privacy and cookie policies. We do not add your questionnaire answers or review submissions to referral links.

Advertising

The website loads Google AdSense code across its pages, and pages may display advertising provided by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, IP addresses, device information, and information about visits or ad interactions to provide, personalise, measure, and protect advertising.

Where consent is required, you will be shown a consent message before personalised advertising technologies are used. You can accept, reject, or manage available choices through that message. Depending on your choice and location, ads may be personalised or non-personalised. Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic, such as page views, referrers, country, device type, browser, and operating system. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies and stores anonymised data. We do not send text, measurements, dates, calculations, or other values entered into a microapp to analytics. Server logs

This site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web server, theirs records standard request logs, which can include your IP address, the page requested, and your browser's user agent. These logs support security, reliability, and delivery of the site. See Vercel's privacy policy for how they handle that data.

Children

The website and microapps are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International processing

Our hosting and advertising providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Their privacy policies describe the safeguards they use for international processing.
