A one-person app studio.

I'm Damiano. Naughty Bear Labs is where I build and publish my apps. Each one is designed, coded, and supported by one person, so nothing ships that I wouldn't use myself.

About

Cicerone didn't start as a product. For years I was the person with the perfect plan and none of the follow-through. My notes app was a museum of systems I never ran for more than two weeks. The problem was never information, it was that none of those systems were built for the day I fell off.

So I stopped collecting systems and built the one that would make me follow through. That became The Cicerone Method, the first app from this studio. Every app since has been built the same way, starting from a problem I actually have: mornings I wanted to start on my own terms became Dawnly, a grocery bill I wanted to shrink became SmartCart, and a word game I loved became Pig Latin.

The studio is named after Naughty Bear, my German Shepherd. Not a metaphor. An actual dog.
